POWER
STRENGTH BALANCE AGILITY SPEED
All successful
athletes have one thing in common. They have an advanced strength
and conditioning program. This was once a strict domain of the
college and professional athletes. Since the competition of
athletics has skyrocketed, there has been a demand from the athlete
of all ages to have a program that will help him or her excel past
their competition. Now these integrated training programs based on
flexibility, balance, stabilization, power, strength, speed and
nutrition are accessible to athletes of all ages. In this day of
age if you are striving to become a professional athlete, to obtain
a scholarship on a college team, attempting to make the team or want
to improve your overall athletic performance, today’s competitive
sports environment demands that you immerse yourself into a
specialized program to obtain your true athletic
potential.
FUNCTIONAL STRENGTH
AND CONDITIONING
Functional
strength and conditioning is the new way of sports performance.
Functional strength and conditioning looks at each sport and then
breaks the movements of that sport down into its complex
components. By doing this a specific program can be designed to
improve the athlete’s strengths and weakness as it applies to that
sport. An example, are Baseball and Football players, they do not
use their muscles and joints in the same way for their particular
sport. So why would they do the strength and conditioning exercises
the same way. This type of training uses sport specific positions
and actions to train for strength and conditioning.
PROGRAM
The functional strength and conditioning
program focuses on Flexibility, Balance, Stability, Power, Strength,
Speed and Neuromuscular Coordination.
